Install the App

Add the packing list to your device for quick access — it works offline too.

📱 Android (Chrome)
1
Open Chrome on your Android phone and go to travelbymk-packing-list.netlify.app
2
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome.
3
Tap "Add to Home screen" from the menu.
4
Tap "Add" on the confirmation prompt.
5
The app icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open the app — it loads like a native app with no browser bar.
Tip: On some Android devices, Chrome will show an install banner at the bottom of the screen automatically. You can tap that instead of going through the menu.
🍏 iPhone (Safari)
1
Open Safari on your iPhone. This must be Safari — Chrome on iPhone does not support home screen installation.
2
Go to travelbymk-packing-list.netlify.app
3
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing up.
4
Scroll down in the Share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen".
5
Tap "Add" in the top-right corner.
6
The app icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open the full-screen app.
Tip: The Share button is at the bottom center of Safari and looks like a square with an upward arrow. If you don't see it, scroll down slightly on the page first.
🖥 Desktop — Chrome or Edge (Mac & Windows)
1
Open Chrome or Edge on your Mac or Windows PC and go to travelbymk-packing-list.netlify.app
2
Look for the install icon in the address bar on the right side — it looks like a monitor with a down arrow. Click it.
3
Click "Install" on the prompt that appears.
4
The app will open in its own window with no browser bar, and a shortcut will be added to your Applications folder (Mac) or Start Menu (Windows).
Tip: If you don't see the install icon in the address bar, click the three-dot menu in Chrome or Edge, then look for "Install Travel By MK Packing List" or "Apps > Install this site as an app".
🧭 Desktop — Safari (Mac)
1
Open Safari on your Mac and go to travelbymk-packing-list.netlify.app
2
Click File in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
3
Click "Add to Dock" from the File menu.
4
Click "Add" on the confirmation prompt.
5
The app icon will appear in your Mac Dock. Click it to open the app in its own window.
Tip: "Add to Dock" was introduced in macOS Sonoma. If you are on an older version of macOS, use Chrome or Edge instead for the best installation experience.
